Life: The Easiest Most Complicated Thing I've Ever Done.

Let's talk about something that's been on my mind lately: how we humans have this uncanny ability to complicate things. Seriously, have you noticed? From the simplest tasks to navigating our emotions, it's like we have a knack for adding layers of complexity where they don't need to be.

Think about it for a sec. Take making breakfast, for example. It's supposed to be a straightforward affair, right? But then we find ourselves stressing over the perfect avocado toast or agonizing about whether we're using the right kind of oats for our smoothie bowl. Suddenly, what should be a simple meal becomes a whole production causing us to reach for that easy to prep bowl of sugar filled cereal.

And don't even get me started on trauma recovery. When we're on that healing journey, it's like our brains go into overdrive, analyzing every little detail, dissecting every emotion, and trying to find meaning in every experience. We complicate the process with expectations of how it should look, how life should feel, how long it should take, and what milestones we should hit along the way.

But here's the thing: life doesn't have to be this complicated. Have you ever considered that it can actually be easy most of the time?

Imagine releasing the pressure we put on ourselves to have it all figured out. Picture letting go of those rigid expectations and unnecessary demands we've been carrying around like a heavy backpack. What if, instead of constantly striving for perfection, we embraced the beauty of simplicity and ease?

When we release expectations, we create space for magic to happen. We allow ourselves to flow with the rhythm of life, rather than constantly fighting against it. We open ourselves up to unexpected opportunities and serendipitous moments that we might have missed otherwise.

I'll leave you with this quote from Eckhart Tolle: "Life is not as serious as the mind makes it out to be." Let's take a deep breath, release the need to complicate things, and step into the ease and flow that is waiting for us on the other side.

With love and light, ease and flow!
